What are Modular Homes?

Modular homes are built in a climate-controlled factory either as one complete home or as individual pieces, and then transported to their final location. Unlike a typical RTM (Ready to Move) home, modular homes are usually more cost-effective and have shorter lead times.

These homes are designed to be placed on a screw pile or block foundation, which is more cost-effective than a traditional basement. When you receive the home, it is completely finished, and in most models includes the furnace, water heater, blinds, and appliance package. This means that all you have to do is connect the home to your utilities, and you can move in!
